courseTowering Pines Miniature Golf is the result of the combined dream of Scott & Erin, residents of the Hayward area for over 17 years and Erin's mother and step father Alan & Barbara.

Scott had vacationed on the Chippewa Flowage as a boy, and after he and Erin began a family, their vacation time continued to be spent in the Northwoods of Sawyer County. Having lived and worked in the Chicago Suburbs, Scott & Erin decided to get out of the "rat race" and moved their family to the Hayward area on not much more then a leap of faith.

After settling into their own individual businesses (Erin in web development and Scott in Flooring Installations) Scott thought it would be a terrific idea to research building a miniature golf course. Hayward had really grown in both permanent and seasonal residents, so it seemed that the area could sustain an upper end miniature golf complex throughout the summer season.

Erin discovered a property that had enormous Norway Pine trees still standing inside the city limits and also happened to be zoned commercial. She envisioned the course weaving among the trees and truly providing the patrons with a 'woods and water' experience they seek when visiting the Hayward Lakes Area. Plans were discussed with Erin's parents who were looking to invest in a business and the rest is history.

Thousands of vacationers have enjoyed the exciting course that was developed, always commenting on the trees and the extensive gardens -- oops! Almost forgot the giant rock waterfall and trademark Caribbean blue water! Come pay us a visit -- you wont' be sorry.
